Licensing and Commercial Terms

Project License

Infram (infra-manager) is offered under PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 with additional licensor terms from Swissmakers GmbH.

Usage Model

Free Usage

Private users may use Infram free of charge for noncommercial use.

Commercial Usage

Any commercial use requires a separate commercial license agreement from Swissmakers GmbH.

Without a valid commercial agreement, commercial use is not permitted.

Additional Restrictions

Unless explicitly authorized in writing by Swissmakers GmbH:

• redistribution is not permitted (modified or unmodified),
• sublicensing or onward transfer is not permitted,
• third-party support and managed services are not permitted,
• resale or partner-operated service delivery is not permitted.

Third-Party Components

Third-party components retain their original licenses and are not relicensed by the project-level license.

Notable examples:

• Apache Guacamole sources in vendor/guacamole-server/ and vendor/guacamole-client/ (Apache-2.0)
• Guacamole-derived connection files:
  • server/lib/ClientConnection.js
  • server/lib/GuacdClient.js
• Bundled fonts/assets that include their own license files

Compliance Guidance

When adding third-party code or assets:

• preserve upstream copyright headers,
• preserve original license files,
• add required attribution to NOTICE where redistribution obligations apply,
• avoid introducing third-party code without clear license provenance.
